In Alaska there's an isolated river and falls between 2 lakes that's a mile and a half long, situated in a Peninsula with no roads and few towns. It's called Brooks Falls in Katmai National Park and every July the brown coastal bears (bigger than grizzlies) congregate here to feast on salmon returning to spawn.
BIG boars, mamas with little cubs and every size in between, they fight for dominance and food.
Turning the truck south in the direction of home, a few places to see yet but feeling blessed with all we've seen and done!
Oh my, what a show!! Better than last summer on TV. I am so grateful you had this experience. Can't wait to see you in Aug!
