Hot Springs & Signs

Made it to the Yukon!

LIard hot springs are an oasis along the way,  warm water then flows into a marsh where moose and other animals frequent to eat the mineral rich grasses.  When we were there we only saw 🦆but we still enjoyed nature's beauty!

Watson sign forest started in 1942 when a homesick soldier posted a sign showing the miles to his hometown in Indiana.  That started the sign forest where travelers leave their signs,  100,00  of them!

STILL HEADING NORTH!

The sign forest is interesting, not something I would've expected where they try to keep everything so pristine! Did you leave anything? You didn't say whether or not you enjoyed a soak in the Springs?
